First Big Steps

Me and my fiance (i'm still getting used to using that word!) have finally taken some of the BIG (well they seem big to me) steps in planning our wedding! :) Apart from the theme and the colors (western theme, light blue & pink, brown) We've talked with the owner of the Arena Bar (the place we want it to all go down at!) and he's all game!! (& why shouldn't he be? we'd be bringin in a ton of business for him that night!!) We also did something that was very significant for me, that Chebo didn't want to do at first but I talked him into it, and that was registering for gifts at Target. After he finally gave in, he had a blast scanning everything in sight! So if you take a look at our list you just might find some really weird stuff!

We've also talked about our honeymoon, what we'd each like to do, and what we could afford. A honeymoon is very important to me, it makes me feel like we'd be getting our marriage off to a good start if we went somewhere and did something we will both have a great time doing. So a friend of ours told us once about when he went on vacation to Costa Rica and how cheap everything is once you get there and we thought that was a great idea! So I've been doing research on it, plane tickets are surprisingly cheap, as of last time I checked, and it lies in the middle of the pacific and Caribbean. It is also very beautiful and there are tons of fun things to do like, snorkle, rafting, swim with Dolphins and much, much more! The only thing about it is the HUGE bugs and spiders that live in the forest there! I hate spiders! BUT besides that I really hope that we can make it work!!!

See what I mean by beautiful?

Also this past weekend we watched & loved the very funny and entertaining movie Year One!
For my upcoming birthday I'm so excited to watch the Johnny Depp movie that will be coming out on July 1 PUBLIC ENEMIES and of course we want to see Ice Age 3 which comes out the same day! (since when do movies come out on Wednesday???)
